About this change

This was a major upgrade to the entire suite, including the Reporting tools, which has moved to the latest version of BMC Analytics and upgraded to Business Objects BO4.

The appearance of the ITSM Incident Management system has been updated. The previous appearance, called 'Classic View' has been replaced with a different look called the 'Best Practice View.' The familiar Classic View will no longer be accessible or supported for Incident Management users.

With the new Best Practice View users will find that the most commonly used fields are easier to access and more data is available on the screen.

To best familiarize yourself about this change and learn about the new functionality, please view the podcasts. Choose 'ServiceDesk,' then 'Incident' to find the appropriate podcasts.
